Vili Malnarič, M.Sc., our Director of Advanced Development, was given the recognition award for his outstanding innovation achievements at the 7th International Conference of Mechanical Engineers

The Conference which finished with a festive Academy of Engineering, took place on Thursday, October 25, in Cankarjev dom, Ljubljana. The main aim of the event was to point out the role of engineers in Slovenia and worldwide, and to show the achievements of the Slovenian engineering as a cooperation between Science and Industry. At the event, most deserving individuals and groups were honored with awards and recognitions.

As said, Director of Advanced Development, Vili Malnarič, M.Sc., was given the recognition award for his outstanding innovation achievements. The commentary said that Mr Malnarič is the key person of many innovation teams which all together obtained 16 different awards, the last one being the best innovation chosen by the public given by the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

TPV develops its competencies in the light weight field, one of the key trends in the automotive industry nowadays, which aims to lower the weight of vehicles, provide higher energetic effectiveness as well as lower the emissions of CO2. They got a 12.000th innovation suggestion in the month of June this year.

In the festive event, Mr Vladimir Gregor Bahč, the procurator of TPV Group, the prize winner for his life achievements in 2011, handed out the Award of the Slovenian ingeneering for global profundity.
