New breakthrough success of TPV – we fascinated Volvo Cars as well

TPV consolidates its path towards the world’s top suppliers in the automotive industry. In addition to the historic deal with BMW, this year TPV also achieved a remarkable succes on the market with the premium car manufacturer Volvo Cars.

The acquired deals include the development and production of structural chassis and automobile bodywork with the function of supporting and protecting the electric power. This way TPV enters the field of electric vehicles even more intensively and becomes one of the key suppliers of Volvo Cars in the field of electrification, which is one of the main trends in the automotive industry. More precisely TPV is penetrating into the segment of aluminium products, introducing a range of new  most advanced technologies.

The obtained projects are the result of a systematic approach to the development of the market and will consequently strenghten the market position of TPV in the coming years. These projects represent a great potential for the development of the TPV Group on global markets, as well as the expansion of existing production sites in Slovenia. TPV is planning to create more than 100 new jobs and expansion of production capacities designed as smart factories.

Strategic cooperation with Volvo Cars represents an enormous potential for increasing the volume of operations in all key global markets where TPV appears and “… is a confirmation of the globalization strategy of the TPV Group with planned penetration in the US and China”, added Gorjup.
