The main aim of the event was to point out the role of engineers in Slovenia and worldwide, and to show the achievements of the Slovenian engineering as a cooperation between Science and Industry. At the event, most deserving individuals and groups were honored with awards and recognitions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">As said, Director of Advanced Development, Vili Malnari\u010d, M.Sc., was given the recognition award for his outstanding innovation achievements. The commentary said that Mr Malnari\u010d is the key person of many innovation teams which all together obtained 16 different awards, the last one being the best innovation chosen by the public given by the Slovenian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">TPV develops its competencies in the light weight field, one of the key trends in the automotive industry nowadays, which aims to lower the weight of vehicles, provide higher energetic effectiveness as well as lower the emissions of CO2. With its competencies in the field of being familiar with different materials, its redesigning, joining and other production processes, TPV offers to its buyers solutions for smart factories. In the field of development they have obtained the trust of many big car producers known worldwide, such as BMW, Daimler, Volvo, Renault and others. Besides, they develop smart factories solutions, where automated guided vehicles are the main product, developed with their own experience and knowledge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">TPV has its own strong Research and Development team, and is connected with others external institutions. They have already obtained 7 awards for innovativeness this year including the Gold award for best innovation chosen by the public for the innovation First integrated stepless door check. They are aware of the meaning of innovativeness and that is the reason they put a lot of effort into its encouragement and promotion among the employees.
