{"id":1807,"date":"2018-02-19T09:01:46","date_gmt":"2018-02-19T08:01:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.tpv.si\/en\/?p=1807"},"modified":"2020-12-09T09:12:23","modified_gmt":"2020-12-09T08:12:23","slug":"5th-tpv-day-innovation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/media\/news-and-press-releases\/5th-tpv-day-innovation\/","title":{"rendered":"5th TPV Day of Innovation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>TPV Day of Innovation<\/strong> is a yearly event where the corporation TPV Group\u00a0presents their innovation actions and achievements made the previous year, and also points out new trends, aspects and findings in the area of innovation. This year, the event took place on Tuesday, February 13, in the new showroom of\u00a0TPV Group on Kandijska cesta 60. The ceremony was opened by\u00a0 Mr. Marko Gorjup, Director \u2013 President of Management TPV d.o.o., who in the opening speech stressed the importance of innovations which in the increasingly changing environment allow us to adapt to changes and gain competitive advantages. In TPV, they are well aware of this and therefore systematically develop, promote and reward innovations in all levels.<\/p>\n<p>The innovators were virtually greeted by one of the biggest and most famous Slovenian inventors <strong>Peter Florjan\u010di\u010d<\/strong>, author of about 400 patents. He addressed the innovators with words of encouragement and shared some interesting stories and ideas with the audience about the birth of perfume atomiser and car airbag which he had sketched back in 1957.<\/p>\n<p>Krunoslav \u0160imrak, the director of research and development division, presented the technology trends in the automotive industry, such as: autonomy, electrification, connectivity and car sharing. The global innovation index for 2017 has revealed that the world&#8217;s most innovative countries have been Sweden, the USA, Germany and the Great Britain, where are also located TPV&#8217;s biggest customers. The latter attach great importance to innovations and expect their suppliers, among them also TPV, to demonstrate such a commitment.<\/p>\n<p>In TPV Group, innovations have become a significant part of all work processes and employees&#8217; mentality. Last year, a 10.000th innovative proposal was submitted by the employees \u00a0representing 2,9 suggestions per employee. The number of innovative ideas is increasing year by year. Last year, the TPV employees submitted almost 3.000 inovative proposals. Among the innovative ideas, the Innovation Committee traditionally selects <strong>the most valuable proposal submitted by an individual and a team <\/strong>and they receive an additional award. At the ceremony, the awards and\u00a0 recognitions for the best innovative ideas\u00a0 were conferred by the director \u2013 president of management, Mr. Marko Gorjup, the director \u2013 member of management, Mr. Ivan Erenda, and the director of R&amp;D division, Mr. Krunoslav \u0160imrak. According to the Innovation Committee, <strong>Marko Malnari\u010d<\/strong> was the most impressive innovator with the innovative proposal called \u00bb<strong>Robotised manufacturing of a product for Range Rover vehicles<\/strong>\u00ab. The award for the most valuable team innovation was conferred to <strong>Sre\u010dko Basarac and Primo\u017e Kozan<\/strong> for their innovation called \u00bb<strong>Feasibility study and implementation of protection in the press tool<\/strong>\u00ab.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-izobrazevanje.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5337 size-portfolio\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-izobrazevanje-495x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"495\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-izobrazevanje-495x400.jpg 495w, https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-izobrazevanje-845x684.jpg 845w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In accordance with strategic guidelines adopted by TPV Group, the further education of employees is besides the innovation system also a part of\u00a0 the incentive plan. Therefore, Mr. Marko Gorjup and Mrs. Martina Brec, the HR director, granted recognitions to all employees who finished education last year: <strong>Bo\u0161tjan Pileti\u010d, Davor Tramte, Lea Gregel, Bernard Lesica, Borut \u010ceh, Marko Erjavec, Stefan Cvijanovi\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-inovatorji.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5336 size-portfolio\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-inovatorji-495x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"495\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-inovatorji-495x400.jpg 495w, https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-inovatorji-845x684.jpg 845w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Martin Sever Award <\/strong>for the best graduate thesis was conferred by Mr. Marko Gorjup and Vladimir Gregor Bah\u010d, the procurator of TPV Group,\u00a0to <strong>Davor Tramte<\/strong> for the diploma thesis called \u00bb3D scanning and making of a 3D model based on a point cloud\u00a0 as a step in\u00a0 reverse engineering process of a trailing arm<strong>\u201d <\/strong>(Faculty of Industrial Engineering Novo mesto).<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony itself was held in an innovative way, as a collaborative robot helped passing the awards. Moreover, Janez Dov\u010d also spiced up the ceremony in an innovative way by playing different instruments from Tesla Coil, the theremin to the laser harp while performing pieces of Tesla music show.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-Dan-inovativivnosti-podelitev.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-5335 size-portfolio\" src=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-Dan-inovativivnosti-podelitev-495x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"495\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-Dan-inovativivnosti-podelitev-495x400.jpg 495w, https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/12\/POSTS_2018-TPV-Dan-inovativivnosti-podelitev-845x684.jpg 845w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 495px) 100vw, 495px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The guests of the event were Vedran Tare from the company Rimac Automobili, who presented a concept of developing an electric car, and Robert Gril from the company Universal Robots, who \u00a0pointed out the novelties and tends in the field of collaborative robots.<\/p>\n<p>A proof that our care for innovativeness is not fruitless, are also 10 innovation awards TPV received last year: two silver awards by the Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Posavje Region, a gold and three silver innovation awards by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Dolenjska and Bela krajina Region, a silver and a bronze recognition by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the \u0160tajerska Region, a silver recognition by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and a gold recognition by the Innovation Association in the municipality of Karlovac, Croatia.
