Regardless of the type of propulsion and the way vehicles will be used in the future, sustainable weight reduction of vehicles is an important motivation for research and development in the automotive industry, with the aim of reducing raw materials, energy and emissions. The base of the<strong> lightweight concept<\/strong> is \u201cthe right material in the right place, in the right quantity and for an affordable price\u201d. The global winners in component development and production are those who are able to respond to these requirements, who understand the lightweight product design and are able to offer breakthrough technological solutions for their production.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The main result of the TPV4LIGHT project<\/strong> is <strong>the development<\/strong> and successful <strong>demonstration of innovative processes for advanced robotic technology lines for the design and assembly of high-strength steel chassis components for the automotive industry.<\/strong> In the development of a complete technological process of transformation of input raw materials, we have <strong>integrated optimized traditional technologies<\/strong> (design and joining High-Strength Steel components) with <strong>modern visual-voice and other enabling technologies.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_half  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding   avia-builder-el-9  el_after_av_one_half  el_before_av_one_full  column-top-margin\" style='border-radius:0px; '><div  class='avia-image-container  av-styling-    avia-builder-el-10  avia-builder-el-no-sibling  avia-align-center '  itemprop=\"image\" itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/ImageObject\"  ><div class='avia-image-container-inner'><div class='avia-image-overlay-wrap'><a href='https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/09\/About_us-RDP-TPV4LIGHT-TPV4Light_project.jpg' class='avia_image'  ><img class='avia_image ' src='https:\/\/www.tpv-automotive.si\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2020\/09\/About_us-RDP-TPV4LIGHT-TPV4Light_project.jpg' alt='' title='About_us - RDP - TPV4LIGHT - TPV4Light_project'  itemprop=\"thumbnailUrl\"  \/><\/a><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"flex_column av_one_full  flex_column_div av-zero-column-padding first  avia-builder-el-11  el_after_av_one_half  el_before_av_one_fifth  column-top-margin\" style='border-radius:0px; '><section class=\"av_textblock_section \"  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock  '   itemprop=\"text\" ><p>The demonstration system, which demonstrates innovative processes, include a modern servo-press with smart tools, and intelligent guided assembly line with robotic joining systems, innovative weld cooling, automated weld control, advanced systems for manipulation and control using 3D machine vision, laser technology, and systems for automated handling and internal logistics. The entire system was simulated and optimized and is controlled and managed through a digital twin. The machines, tools and products data are captured through IoT interfaces and transmitted using digital technology to ensure data security and event traceability. For advanced human-machine communication, we have integrated advanced speech technology and artificial intelligence methods for proactive machines and devices control to get the best end products in given circumstances.<\/p>\n<p>After the successful completion of the PD project, we can demonstrate a comprehensive concept of innovative processes in the factories of the future, where we address all four perspectives of <strong>Industry 4.0<\/strong>: manufacturing processes, machines, tools and devices, software and engineering. In accordance with the <strong>Industry 5.0<\/strong> concept, we can demonstrate a new approach to human inclusion and a broader project orientation from economical, environmental and social point of view. With the realization of the <strong>TPV4LIGHT<\/strong> project, we can contribute to the introduction of the lightweight concept in the production of components for the vehicles of the future, by the time shortening of technological processes development, expansion of effectiveness of processes, faster response to customer demands, and thus increase the competitiveness in the global automotive market.<\/p>\n<p>The consortium partners have obtained important references in the field of manufacturing and enabling technologies, which help us to acquire commercial business both domestically and especially in the global market. We are able to demonstrate new technologies and solutions to the general public aiming to share technical knowledge, spreading the engineering culture, encouraging young people for technical professions and last but not least, demonstrate our knowledge and competencies to potential customers.<\/p>\n<p>Visits are enabled to the interested public by prior arrangement.
