On  June 19th  TPV Automotive successfully hosted a professional event titled “Cost Optimization Through Advanced R&D Approaches”, bringing together numerous industry representatives and experts in development, engineering, and manufacturing.

 

The event was designed to demonstrate how modern R&D approaches and simulation-based tools can help companies improve efficiency, accelerate time to market, and reduce costs. The content was delivered by TPV Automotive’s in-house experts, who bring decades of experience through close cooperation with leading global vehicle manufacturers. TPV Automotive is recognized as one of the key development suppliers in the global automotive industry.

The program focused on three core areas:

• Virtual simulations in product development – showcasing how simulation tools can reduce development costs, improve product performance, and shorten the development cycle.
• Efficient prototyping – presenting digital methods that minimize the need for expensive physical prototypes and speed up idea testing and production readiness.
• Production process simulations and the smart factory concept – demonstrating how virtual factory tools can optimize production flows, reduce errors, and achieve significant savings in time and cost.

Within these content blocks, participants were introduced to TPV’s core engineering competencies, including advanced 3D modeling (CAD), finite element analysis (FEA), digital prototyping, validation processes, production process optimization, and smart factory development.

As part of the event, participants also toured one of the most technologically advanced production plants in Slovenia, where they saw firsthand how TPV’s R&D solutions are applied to optimize manufacturing and reduce costs in the production of high-strength steel components.

The event concluded with informal networking and individual discussions, during which many attendees expressed interest in future collaboration.
